In a normal winter, snow usually covers the ground from November to April. The snow season may start earlier or end later depending on weather conditions, but visitors can generally expect a beautiful winter landscape throughout this period.

2. What languages do Santa's elves speak?

Our elves speak several languages to welcome guests from around the world. Depending on availability, they may speak English, Finnish, French, German and other languages. English and Finnish are always available.

3. How far is Santa Station from Rovaniemi?

Santa Station is located in Ylitornio, in Finnish Lapland. The journey from Rovaniemi takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by car, making it an excellent day trip or stop during a Lapland holiday. 

4. Is Santa Station suitable for young children?

Absolutely. Santa Station is designed especially for families with children. The activities are safe, interactive, and suitable for guests of different ages, creating magical memories for the whole family.

5. Can I take photos with Santa Claus?

Yes. Guests are welcome to take photos during their visit. Meeting Santa Claus is often one of the most memorable moments of a Lapland holiday, and we encourage families to capture these special memories.

We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially during the Christmas season and winter holidays. Advance reservations help ensure availability and allow us to provide the best possible experience for every guest.

9. Will I have to wait in long queues?

No. We welcome only a suitable number of guests at a time to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. By carefully managing visitor numbers, we avoid long queues and overcrowding, allowing families to spend more quality time with Santa Claus and his elves in a relaxed atmosphere.

10. How do you make children feel special during their visit?

Every child is unique, and we do our best to make their visit feel personal and magical. Whenever possible, our elves learn the child's first name and may even discover some of their favourite hobbies or interests. This helps Santa Claus create a warm and memorable meeting that feels truly special for each child and family.

11. Can I feed the reindeer?

Yes. Visitors are welcome to feed the reindeer during their visit. Special reindeer food is available for purchase at Santa Station, allowing guests to safely interact with and learn more about these gentle animals. Feeding the reindeer is a favourite experience for many children and families visiting Lapland.
